Bianca Gonzalez is the owner of BMG Appraisal Services, a full-service art appraisal and consulting company in Miami, Florida. Bianca is a generalist appraiser and member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).
As an art appraiser and collection management specialist, Bianca is passionate and focused on learning, researching and documenting a collection's history for her clients.
Bianca grew up around art, visiting museums and antique shops with her mother and grandmother, she began buying and selling at a young age. Bianca began her professional art career working as an art consultant at a contemporary art gallery. After completing a Masters degree in Art Business, Bianca worked at Artnet Auctions, an art market platform that sells photographs, prints, and contemporary art to clients across the globe. As an auction cataloguer, Bianca managed an inventory of various art objects from paintings to photographs and worked directly with top art collectors.
In 2018, Bianca was involved in the development of Royal Caribbean Terminal A at PortMiami, where she worked on the art commissioning process of two new major public art works for the new terminal.
Bianca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Art History and Mass Communications, and a Master of Arts degree in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art. Bianca is fluent in Spanish and has completed ISA's Core Course in Appraisal Methodology and is up to date on USPAP requirement.
